About

Background: I am a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation of adults ages 18 and older. I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I have been in private practice since moving to Pennsylvania from New York in 2015. Prior to that I completed my doctoral degree at Long Island University in 2014, two years of postdoctoral specialization in neuropsychology, and an APA approved internship with a focus on neuropsychology. I have had the privilege of training at various prestigious medical institutions, including Columbia University Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical Center, NYU Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, and several Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (among others).

Throughout my training and early career, I have worked with adults across the lifespan in both outpatient and hospital settings. I have had a wide range of medical and psychiatric clinical experiences, including specialized training in epilepsy evaluation, acute TBI/stroke evaluation within a rehabilitation setting, general hospital neuropsychological consultation services, geriatric-specific training, and inpatient psychiatric evaluation. As a practitioner in private practice, I frequently evaluate patients due to concerns about ADHD, sequelae of head injuries, dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other neurological/psychiatric conditions.

I also have experience conducting intellectual disability evaluations as well as pre-surgical neuropsychological/psychological testing related to epilepsy surgery, DBS procedures, and spinal cord stimulator implantation in chronic pain patients.

Assessment approach: I tailor each of my assessments to the particular patient and employ a flexible approach in selecting my test material. It is of utmost importance to me to establish a positive working relationship with my patients, their family members, and referring providers. To that end, I work hard to be inclusive, respectful, understanding, thorough, and straightforward, as well as to provide test results/feedback in a timely manner. I typically conduct a clinical interview and the assessment session on the same day, and complete a written report within one week.

Personal: Outside of work, I live in Delaware County with my husband, our two boys, and three dogs. In my free time I enjoy pottery, hiking, gardening, and sewing.
